What is Ridas and what is it used for?

Ridas is a element within the logical structure of monographs / books. It was defined by the University of Innsbruck during the METAe project and means "publisher statement" / "Vorwort des Verlegers". Normally it is located within the FRONT part of a monograph and contains page elements referring to a statement by the publisher. This logical element is optional and rather used seldomly.
